Honoree: Eugene Perry, Jr.

Rain date: Sunday, Sept. 7

The event will begin at 12 p.m. with the traditional procession starting in front of the Suffolk County District Court and the official ceremony will be held at 12:45 p.m. on the Four Corners.

Then stroll downtown Patchogue and view the Lou Giordano Classic and Italian Car Show or stop by the lawn of the Sixth District Court/Teen Center at the Patchogue-Medford Carnegie Library to watch the annual bocce ball tournament. 

Family-friendly festivities:

• Rocking Horse Farms Petting Zoo (near The Tap Room)
• Touch-A-Truck (South Ocean Ave.)
• Italian crafts, ‘All About Italy’ Coloring Books,
& cotton candy (Free, while supplies last; in front of Pat-Med Library 12-3 p.m.)

Entertainment (throughout Feast):
• All Day Lou Giordano Italian & Classic Car Show (West Main St.)
• 12-3 p.m. Giglio Italian Marching Band (marching throughout Main St.)
• 1:15 p.m. Patchogue-Medford Cheerleaders (Four Corners/Main St.)
• 1-5 p.m. DJ Keith Ray (Capital One Plaza)
• 2 p.m. Elegant Dance Studio (Capital One Plaza)
• 3 p.m. TNT Twirlers (Capital One Plaza)
• 2:30 & 3:30 p.m. Tarantella Dancers (Four Corners/Main St.)
• 2-5 p.m. Singer Nino Performing Sinatra and Friends (That Meetball Place)
• 2-5 p.m. Killin' Time featuring John Sirianni (Main Stage)
• 2-5 p.m. Musician Tony Grant (South Ocean Ave.)
• 2-5 p.m. Acapella Singers: Somewhere in Time (Patchogue Theatre)

Participating restaurants will also feature wine tastings during the eighth annual "Vino in the Village" wine walk (More info: https://www.facebook.com/events/1518820149280552)

And a zeppole eating contest will take place at 4:30 p.m.!

All money pinned to the statue of Saint Liberata will be donated to St. Francis de Sales R.C. Church & Our Lady of Mt. Carmel R.C. Church.
