The concert aims to reintroduce and celebrate PAPURI!’s Salmo album series (Volumes 1-8), PAPURI!'s brand of the Tagalog Praise & Worship series first released in the early 1990s, while encouraging church choirs and music ministries to incorporate these songs into their worship services and ministry activities. Through this special launch, PAPURI! hopes to inspire more choirs to appreciate, learn, and continue singing these Scripture-centered songs within their churches and communities.  

The evening will feature three distinguished choirs: Los Cantantes De Manila, conducted by Mr. Darwin Vargas; Light of the Nation Singers, conducted by Mr. Mark Gregory Isip; and the PAPURI! Ensemble, conducted by Mr. N. Arnel de Pano. The program will open with a special Salmo Praise and Worship medley performed by PAPURI! singers.

The upcoming release is a special offering from the Friends of PAPURI!, spearheaded by veteran and multi-awarded songwriter and music producer Soc Villanueva, with valuable contributions from fellow ka-PAPURI! Mel Altoveros. The album's vocal arrangements were crafted by the project's overall creative producer, N. Arnel De Pano, whose artistic direction helped shape the distinctive a cappella sound of the production.

Established in 1978, Papuri!, the official music ministry of Far East Broadcasting Philippines, has used music to proclaim God’s Word and encourage people in their faith. Through the years, Papuri! has become an enduring part of Filipino Christian music, producing songs that reflect themes of worship, praise, and the Christian life.

The “PAPURI! Salmo A Capella: Sa Wagas na Pag-ibig Mo” Concert Launch continues this legacy by highlighting the rich musical and spiritual heritage of the Salmo album series. It is an opportunity to bring church choirs together, encourage the use of a cappella music in worship, and introduce these songs to a new generation of singers and congregations.
