The artists:
CRYSTAL MILAROSE RODIS-CONCEPCION, flute, started as a scholar at the Philippine High School for Arts (PHSA) under the tutelage of Prof. Enrique Barcelo. She got a scholarship for the Interlochen Arts Camp in Michigan, USA and was a Fine Arts Awardee. She not only graduated With High Honors as well as batch valedictorian, but she was also a recipient of the Artistic Excellence Award and the Makiling Academe and Research Institute for the Arts (MARIA) scholarship for her college education. 

She received her Bachelor of Music degree from the University of the Philippines and graduated magna cum laude. She completed her Master of Music degree at the University of Texas Pan-American in Texas, USA.  She was a three-time member of the Southeast Asian Youth Orchestra and Wind Ensemble (SAYOWE) in Salaya, Thailand. She is also a three-time National Music Competitions for Young Artists (NAMCYA) winner, garnering 1st prize for Woodwinds Category A, 2nd prize for Flute Category B and 1st prize for Flute Category C. 

She remains an active solo, chamber and orchestra musician. Formerly a Principal Flutist with the Metro Manila Concert Orchestra (MMCO), she now frequently performs with the Manila Symphony Orchestra, UP Symphony Orchestra and the Rivera Woodwind Quintet. She has also performed with Filharmonika, Manila Philharmonic Orchestra, UST Symphony Orchestra and the Philippine Philharmonic Orchestra.

She is also an active educator. She previously taught at the Miriam College Music Center, Korean International School Philippines, Philippine Women’s University and St. Scholastica’s College. She currently mentors young flutists at the Orchestra of the Filipino Youth and the Philippine High School for the Arts and serves as Assistant Professor at the University of the Philippines.

REYNATO M. RESURRECCION, JR., oboe, is the principal oboist of the Philippine Philharmonic Orchestra, a member of the Clarion Chamber Ensemble and a former assistant conductor of the University of Santo Tomas Symphony Orchestra.

He graduated from the University of Santo Tomas Conservatory of Music under the tutelages of the late Professors Ludovico Mendoza and Mariano Mendoza.

He also studied under Professor Tsuji Isao, a Principal Oboist of the Yumiuri Symphony Orchestra, at the Elisabeth University of Music in Hiroshima, Japan where he obtained his Masteral Degree Major in oboe performance. While staying in Japan he was a member of the Elisabeth University Orchestra and Symphony band. He was also the conductor/trainor of the International Music Friendship Club. He was one of the twelve winners in the Asian Music Student's Competition held in Tokyo. 
After his graduation recital he was chosen by the jury to perform for the Elisabeth University’s New Artists’ Concert, where he performed Mozart's Oboe Concerto in C major K314.

He joined several Asean Music Workshops for Orchestra : Brunei in 1991, Thailand in 1996 and the Asean Music Workshops for Symphonic Band in Thailand 1995. He was the principal oboist in all of those workshops. In August of 1996 he was chosen to participate  in the Asian Youth Orchestra's concert tour of Asia as an English Horn player. 

He was also the Principal Oboist of the Philippine Youth Orchestra and the UST Symphony Orchestra.

JAYSON C. RIVERA, clarinet, is a member of the Philippine Philharmonic Orchestra (PPO) and a Senior Lecturer at the University of the Philippines College of Music. As a member of the PPO, he performed in the historic 2016 debut at Carnegie Hall and the 2025 United Kingdom Tour.

An active chamber musician, Jayson and his colleagues inaugurated the Rivera Woodwind Quintet in 2022 at the Manila Pianos Artist Series. On March 29, 2025, he performed in a trio concert presented by the Arts Council of Cebu Foundation Inc. and the City of Cebu at the Marcelo B. Fernan Cebu Press Center. On October 3, 2025, he performed in "Goldenberg: The Concert Series XIX" at the Goldenberg Mansion, collaborating with cellist Gerry Graham Ariza Gonzales and pianist Dingdong Fiel.

In musical theater, Jayson is a premier woodwind player for major Broadway tours. His credits include The Phantom of the Opera, Wicked, Chicago, Singin' in the Rain, and The Sound of Music. Notably, he performed on whistles and Irish flute for the Manila season of Come From Away.

A first-prize winner of the 1998 NAMCYA, Jayson holds degrees (DCPMA and Bachelor of Music) from the University of the Philippines and a Master of Music from the Philippine Women’s University.

ALVIN CERDA SISON, bassoon. Alvin started to learn music and play the clarinet at the age of 10 through the mentorship of his grandfather Jake (Joaquin O. Sison Sr.). He was also influenced by being a member of BYB 83 Inc. former (Banda Kabataan 83) of Binangonan, Rizal under the leadership of his father Joaquin Y. Sison Jr. 

At the age of 17, after graduating from Binangonan Catholic High School, he became a member of the Manila City Hall Band as a clarinet player. He started learning the bassoon during his college years. He took his Bachelor of Music Major in Bassoon at the UST Conservatory of Music under the tutelage of the former PPO principal bassoonist Mr. Severino Ramirez (+) and was a member of the UST Symphonic Band and UST Symphony Orchestra from the year 1994-2000. He attained the highest grade (excellent) in his graduation recital held on October, 2000. 
 
He joined as a casual player at the Manila Symphony Orchestra, and a principal bassoon player of the Metro Manila Community Orchestra in his college years. He was a former faculty and bassoon teacher of Ang Misyon (OFY Orchestra of the Filipino Youth) from the year 2018-2021. At present, he is a member of the Rivera Woodwind Quintet and a member of the bassoon section of the Philippine Philharmonic Orchestra.

JOHN GERALD CALMA, horn, is a horn player from Gapan City, Nueva Ecija, whose musical journey began in the Zabat Band, the Philippines’ oldest marching band founded in 1820, where his father is a longtime member. 

He started studying solfeggio and cornet at age nine and later transitioned to horn in 2012 through the band’s free music program. He earned a Bachelor’s degree in Music from the University of the Philippines College of Music in December 2025, studying under Mahler Villanueva. 

His professional experience includes performances with the ABS-CBN Philharmonic Orchestra, Manila Philharmonic Orchestra, UP Symphony Orchestra and the Philippine Philharmonic Orchestra, as well as appearances in international music festivals and competitions in the Philippines, Thailand, and China. 

A top performer at NAMCYA, he won second prize in 2022 and first prize in 2024 in the Open Brass Category.
