"AAWITAN KITA Bayan Kong Minamahal"
To celebrate the 127th year of Philippine independence, Artes Organization is partnering with Double Pentagon Concerts and Meridian Innovation Center to bring renowned world-class pianist Dingdong Fiel to perform his all-Filipino classic concert, 'AAWITAN KITA Bayan Kong Minamahal'.
Maestro Dingdong Fiel is going to highlight the distinct aspect of our traditional Filipino music genre and will have his audience immersed in meticulously curated Philippine love songs, kundiman, and harana; a unique genre of art songs, which express sentiments of love, and heroism characterized by smooth flowing lines and beautiful melodies.
The concert program will include a mix of Filipino classics and some contemporary works by several renowned Filipino composers who have made their mark in Philippine music, complimented with exceptional vocal performances by some of today's top Filipino vocal artists led by Al Gatmaitan , Margarita Roco, Vincent Sy, Jun Tuason and Eden Dumlao. "AAWITAN KITA Bayan Kong Minamahal" will be on Tuesday, 10 June 2025 at 6 pm.
Performance venue will be at 11/f Double Dragon West, DD Meridian Park, EDSA cor Macapagal Avenue, Pasay City.
