Olga García Echeverría is the author of Falling Angels: Cuentos y Poemas. Her work appears in Lavandería: A Mixed Load of Women, Wash, and Words, U.S. Latino Literature Today, Telling Tongues: A Latin@ Anthology on Language, Bird Float / Tree Song, The Sun Magazine, and Imaniman: Poets Writing from the Anzalduan Borderlands. She was selected by A Room of Her Own (AROHO) as the 2013 Touching Lives Fellow, and in the spring of 2015 she was a finalist for AROHO's Orlando Literary Prize in the genre of Creative Non-fiction. She lives, teaches, and shape shifts in Los Angeles. 

Cynthia Guardado is a Salvadorian-American poet and professor of English at Fullerton College. She received her Masters of Fine Arts from California State University, Fresno with an emphasis in poetry. Her poems have appeared in Huizache, The Acentos Review, The Packinghouse Review, and The Wandering Song: Central American Writing in the United States. She translated and transcribed interviews with journalist and Cuban exile, Normando Hernandez Gonzalez which were published in the Madrid Conversations (New Orleans Press 2013). Her debut collection of poetry Endeavor was published by World Stage press in 2017 and was also the recipient of the Pellicer-Frost Binational Poetry Prize.

Rebecca Gonzales

Cultivated by the sun and moon peeking past the shoes dangling from the phone lines, Rebecca Gonzales lives  in East Los Angeles .Rebecca’s work has been published in various literary anthologies and journals such as Issue 1 of Dryland Lit., Inchas de Poesia, the Mas Tequila Review, St. Sucia, Literature for Life,and others, she was the March 2014 winner of “The Poets of New York” series at the Bowery in New York City, As a mother she is humbled as a poet she is obedient, and as a woman she is unapologetic.
