Join us for an Herb Walk & craft a fresh, bioregional tea together!"In some native languages, the term for plants translates to 'those who take care of us.'" — Robin Wall KimmererWhat to expect: We’ll meet at Hahamongna Watershed Park in Pasadena for a slow, intentional walk through one of our region’s most special riparian–chaparral ecotones. Together, we’ll learn to identify our local plant kin, and mindfully gather a small amount to try as tea at the end of our walk. We’ll make stops along the trail for plant ID, sensory observation, and teachings about traditional uses.This offering invites you to connect deeply with the watershed, learn ethical foraging basics, and experience how simple, everyday plants can support grounding, resilience, and reciprocity.Difficulty Level: 3/10 mostly flat with gentle inclines. Expect uneven terrain, sandy stretches, and optional off-trail exploration.What to bring:A notebook or nature journal, pen or pencil, sun protection, a light snack, and plenty of water to stay hydrated.
