Pasadena parents and caregivers of children 0-5 years are invited to attend a FREE Potty Training workshop.
The workshop is hosted by the Pasadena Public Health Department's Maternal, Child and Adolescent Health program with funding from the Pasadena Child Health Foundation.
The workshop is led by Gia Gambaro Blount and Laura Birek.
Gia Gambaro Blount is a child development instructor, parent educator, and consultant with over 20 years of experience. She is cofounder of the Pasadena City College Family Resource Center, teacher in UCLA’s xOpen series, and the toddler expert for The Family Room.
Laura Birek is a writer, podcaster, storyteller, and mom to two young boys. She has written for Parents Magazine; O, The Oprah Magazine; The Los Angeles Times; Shondaland; and xoJane, among others. Laura is co-host of the popular parenting and pregnancy podcast Big Fat Positive.
The Potty Training Workshop event includes:
· Soft play area and toys to keep little ones occupied
· Snacks and water
· Raffle for participants to win a copy of the authors’ new book, Good to Go!
Registration is required. Limited capacity available. Childcare will not be provided during the workshop, but children are welcome.
