🥣 Soup for the Soul – A Community-Warming Fundraiser
Soup for the Soul is an annual fundraising event hosted by Hospice West Parry Sound (HWPS) that brings together local restaurants, chefs, and community members to share warmth, comfort, and compassion—one bowl at a time.
Purpose: To raise funds and awareness for HWPS’s programs, especially grief and bereavement support.
Format: Participating restaurants donate a signature soup, which is served to attendees in a cozy, community-focused setting.
Community Impact: The event fosters connection, celebrates local culinary talent, and supports individuals and families navigating loss and end-of-life care.
Participation: Restaurants contribute soup (and sometimes bread or sides), and volunteers help with pickup, serving, and setup.
It’s a heartwarming tradition that nourishes both body and soul—while supporting a vital cause.
