Discover the beauty of Lake Parramatta's native bushland in springtime on this guided wildflower walk with Apunga Ecological Management.

We'll explore the scenic walking trails of one of Western Sydney's most important bushland reserves and learn how our native plants have adapted to thrive in their local environment. We'll learn to identify seasonal flowering natives from Grevilleas and Banksias to Orchids and our many brightly coloured native peas and other wildflowers.

On the walk, we'll also explore the ecological importance of the reserve, the role native vegetation plays in supporting native birds, mammals and insects, as well the things you can do help nurture this important ecosystem.

This walk is on unpaved walking trails so please bring hat, sunscreen and water and wear sturdy enclosed shoes.

This walk is presented by Apunga Ecological Management, who have been protecting and restoring bushland in Greater Sydney for more than 20 years.


Registrations are essential. All participants (Children and their caregivers) must be registered to attend. Please ensure to register a ticket for each child and caregiver.
