De Grendel Restaurant invites you to an exclusive Winemaker’s Dinner in collaboration with Michelin-starred chef Jan Hendrik van der Westhuizen.
On this special evening, Jan Hendrik and De Grendel Cellar Master Charles Hopkins will share their insights and stories, exploring the harmony between food, wine, and the creative spirit that defines South African excellence.
The De Grendel Restaurant team, in collaboration with Jan Hendrik and his culinary team, have crafted a menu inspired by Jan Hendrik’s acclaimed style and philosophy, paired with De Grendel’s award-winning wines. Each course reflects a true meeting of minds: a shared celebration of craftsmanship, heritage, and flavour. Guests will be welcomed with canapés on arrival, followed by a three-course dinner and a dedicated cheese course.
Guests will also receive a complimentary copy of the latest JAN The Journal, a beautifully curated publication celebrating food, culture, and storytelling, and a bottle of De Grendel wine to savour beyond the evening.
