Help contribute to citizen science data in the City's conservation estate
About this Event
Become a citizen scientist and help the City of Gold Coast identify wildlife captured through our infrared fauna cameras. Join NaturallyGC officers and help set up monitoring cameras in some of our conservation parks.
Cameras are left out for up to 4 weeks. Data captured will be uploaded to the Widlife WatchGC iNaturalist where you will have the ability to see what we have captured on camera and help with identification
These sessions are only for a small amount of volunteers due to the specified nature of the session

The City of Gold Coast NaturallyGC program connects the Gold Coast community to nature through free and low cost workshops, activities and events.
The program offers more than 800 free and low cost environment-based workshops and activities that cater for all ages from guided bushwalks, nature play for kids, tree planting, citizen science, environmental educational workshops, nature photography, wildlife shows, bush tucker and more. The program is also packed with ideas and parks to enjoy sustainable nature-based recreation.
