Participants will explore the impact of forced migration, settlement experiences, and trauma-informed principles to enhance culturally safe practice. Learning OutcomesBy the end of the workshop you will be able to:Explain the significance of forced migration and settlement and identify relevant information for clinical practice Understand risk and protective factors during settlement Identify barriers and enablers to accessing mental health services, including the role of health literacy Observe and reflect on the Cultural Formulation Interview Apply trauma-informed principles in practice NB: This workshop is designed to be interactive and experiential and will include activities such as role-plays and group discussions.
