For others, it may be completely new.Come join us at the farm and explore this ancient and nutritious grain from seed to plate.We'll meet the amaranth plant, learn how it is grown and harvested, and get hands-on as we explore how the tiny seeds are separated, cleaned, and prepared. We'll also learn about amaranth's history, cultural significance, and nutritional value—and discover some of the delicious ways it can make its way from the farm to our tables.And, of course, we'll pop it and taste it! 🌾Enjoy light refreshments and samples of foods made with amaranth while connecting with the land, learning something new, and sharing the experience with others.Saturday, September 26, 2026📍 17933 Foreston Rd.
