- **Event Description**: For more than 30 years, the National Association of Letter Carriers (NALC) has conducted an annual nationwide food drive, collecting non-perishable food donations along postal routes. In Pierce County, Emergency Food Network works closely with Union Branch 130 to collect more than 200,000 pounds of food for our neighbors in need in one day!

How to participate: 
1. You’ll receive a donation bag in the mail from the post office (if it doesn't arrive in time, any grocery bag will do!). Fill it with non-perishable food (no glass, please!) and leave it at your mailbox on Saturday, May 9.
2. Your postal carrier or a volunteer will pick it up.
3. EFN distributes the food to our neighbors in need in Pierce County.
