Only open to the public a few times a year this guided tour will allow you to discover the space behind the music. With fabulous views, a clavier like very few in the world, to the bell tower containing 55 impressive bells. See how this unique instrument is played and the learn about the building and the instrument that has become so iconic to Canberra.
Duration: 45 minutes
Meeting Point: Base of the National Carillon, Aspen Island
Please note:
This tour is not wheelchair or pram accessible
Enclosed shoes recommended
Walking tours will not go ahead in cases of extreme weather
Toilet block available at opposite Aspen Island
Parking available along Wendouree drive and in King’s Park www.nca.gov.au/parking-management/parking-areas/pay-parking-parkes
