Bookbinding Basics II

Participants will design an “artist book” that assumes a non-traditional book function. The processes will enable participants to create a book from cover to cover, employing themes, repurposing available materials, and pushing the boundaries of artistic expression. Participants are encouraged to bring printed materials that can be cut or manipulated. While participants will create individual works, collaborative brainstorming and skill sharing will be welcomed to enhance the scope of creativity.
