You'll hear stories from Elle Gadient, a fifth-generation Iowa hog and cattle farmer who grew up with farming in her bones; Lynsey Gammon, who runs Gracie’s Farm at The Lodge at Blue Sky in Utah and makes regenerative, female-led farming look both intentional and joyful; Hannah Greenshields, a first-generation farmer from Australia’s NSW Central Coast growing food with soil, biodiversity, and community always in mind; Paula Swaner Sargetakis, co-owner of Salt Lake City’s Frog Bench Farms, proving that real farming can thrive in the middle of a city; David Chen of Zoe’s Garden, growing over 600 varieties of produce for local families and restaurants; AJ Kanip of Ute Tribal Enterprises and Ute Bison Meat Company, raising bison on reservation lands to support his community; and Albert Betoudji, a New Roots farmer whose path to farming runs through migration, resilience, and new beginings. Celebrity chefs are preparing immersive tastings for the audience alongside the farmer stories. The night also includes a special appearance by actor and producer David Moscow, best known for starring opposite Tom Hanks in Big, who will share clips from his TV series From Scratch and jump into the conversation with the farmers, connecting food, film, and the very human messiness of trying to do right by the land. David will share special Utah-local clips from From Scratch and chat with Dr. Lisbeth Louderback, Curator of Archaeology, Natural History Museum of Utah.Followed by a delicious reception supported by the Sprouts Healthy Communities Foundation. The extraordinary culinary experience will be headed by Chef Bleu Adams and Chef Johanna Hellrigl.
