Bay Area artist Lola is known for her intensely vibrant abstractions created with tinted epoxy resin, a medium she manipulates on a raised horizontal plane to produce luminous surfaces and gravity-defying drips that have become a signature element of her work. In her newest series, Quiet Places, Lola evolves her earlier layered compositions into quieter, more restrained forms with subdued palettes and shadowy overlays, inviting viewers to experience a sense of serenity while still engaging the emotional power of color.
