Leur dernier album marque une rupture nette avec leur style post-punk initial, Shallow Waves s'inspirant désormais de groupes contemporains tels que The Soft Moon, Model / Actriz, ainsi que de groupes plus anciens comme Killing Joke et Ministry. Les derniers singles de Shallow Waves témoignent de cette évolution.
