[FR] Parade Ground, composé des deux frères Pierre et Jean-Marc Pauly, a commencé à se produire en concert en 1981.
Ils furent parmi les pionniers de la Cold Wave belge et de l’Electronic Body Music.
Leur premier single, Moan on the sly, est sorti en 1983, et le groupe est resté actif jusqu’à aujourd’hui (même s’ils ont choisi de ne rien publier entre 1988 et 2007, étant alors impliqués dans d’autres projets artistiques comme l’écriture de romans ou les arts plastiques).

Leur style a évolué au cours des années 1980, passant d’une cold wave glaciale et radicale à un son plus dansant, marqué par des rythmiques affirmées et des mélodies exclusivement synthétiques, le tout mêlé à un dadaïsme visuel onirique.

Ils ont collaboré régulièrement avec des membres du groupe belge Front 242, ont été produits par le musicien et producteur anglais Colin Newman (de Wire) et ont écrit et composé pour deux albums de Front 242 en 1994.
Ils ont tourné dans divers pays européens et ont inspiré de nombreux groupes.

Un nouvel album, Rosary, est paru en 2007, produit par Patrick Codenys (Front 242).
Le groupe est reconnu pour ses performances scéniques singulières et marquantes à travers l’Europe (« la chorégraphie du chaos »). Ils ont récemment publié plusieurs compilations Best of.

OKNHO est un duo français de Darkwave Industriel formé en 2017 par deux figures de l'underground électronique : Gwenn Trémorin (Flint Glass) et Boris Völt (Mode in Gliany), également co-fondateurs du label Brume Records.
• Signature Sonore : Leur musique est une fusion de Dark Ambiant profond et d'AngstPop mélancolique, explorant l'Industriel, le Noise et le Darkwave. Le répertoire est intégralement chanté en français.
• Instrumentation Unique : Ils utilisent une instrumentation expérimentale et riche (Thérémine, Guitare Open Tuning, Synthés DIY) pour une texture sonore distinctive.
• Concept Scénique : Le live est une expérience immersive et linéaire inspirée du surréalisme (Artaud) et du théâtre de Boulgakov. L'esthétique est brute et intemporelle, renforcée par des projections vidéos dadaïstes en noir et blanc.

[ENG] Parade Ground, composed of two brothers Pierre and Jean-Marc Pauly started performing live in 1981.
They were one of the pioneers of the Belgian Cold Wave and Electronic Body Music .

The first single, 'Moan on the sly', was released in 1983 and they remained active until now ( however they decided
not to release anything between 1988 and 2007, being involved in other artistic projects like novels-writing and plastic art). 

Their style has evolved during the eighties, passing from an icy and radical cold wave to a more dancing sound with noticeable rythmics and exclusively synthetic melodies mixed up with dreamy visual dadaism.
They regularly collaborated with members of belgian band Front 242, were produced by english producer Colin Newman of Wire and wrote and composed on two Front 242 albums in 1994.

They toured in various European countries and have been an inspiration for many bands
A new album 'Rosary' was released in 2007 , produced by Patrick Codenys (Front 242)

The band are well known for their singular and striking live performances all over Europe ('the choreography of chaos') . The band have recently released several Best of compilation.
