Mind Matters Workshop- The Pause that Restores

Over and over again, God invites us to rest. He’s made space for us to rest spiritually, mentally, and physically. In fact, when He gave the Ten Commandments, He had more to say about Sabbath rest than about any of the others we might think of as “more serious.”

In a world that constantly pushes us to do more and move faster—especially as we head into the holiday season—His invitation still stands: come and rest. Rest isn’t a luxury; it’s essential to our full well-being. Our Creator knows what we need.

This month, we’ll reflect on the Biblical meaning of rest and consider how to bring that restfulness into the patterns of our daily lives.
