Pour sa première carte blanche, Maxime Sanchez propose un trio inédit autour de la musique de Georges Gershwin, compositeur et pianiste américain célèbre pour avoir mêlé musique classique et jazz.

Maxime Sanchez commence le piano à 4 ans à SEOUL (en Corée du sud). Il découvre le jazz en région toulousaine et entre au collège de Marciac (horaires aménagés). En 2006 il déménage à Paris et intègre deux ans plus tard la classe de jazz du Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique de Paris (CNSMDP).
A Paris, il multiplie les expériences musicales.
Parmis les projets marquants de sa carrière de sideman, le travail avec François Jeanneau au Pandemonium, le groupe de Magik Malik « Jazz Association », le groupe du Saxophoniste Belge Toine Thys « Orlando » et son travail aux côtés de David Enhco (Keyston Big Band, 4tet avec Maitrises etc.).
Et ses projets de cœurs en tant que leader ou co-leader : FLASH PIG, KEPLER, et son nouveau Trio « Standards ».
En 2018, Maxime s’est révélé aux yeux du monde du jazz en devenant l’un des très rares musiciens européens à inscrire son nom au palmarès de la célèbre Thelonious Monk Competition, à laquelle il termine troisième.
