Join us for a nourishing day retreat where women in the menopause transition gather to share stories, reconnect with their bodies, and honour the wisdom of this powerful life passage.

Through circle, creative expression, gentle movement, voice and seasonal nourishment, we will explore what it means to step into this new chapter with curiosity, courage and support.

Our day will include:

• Vocal opening and song with Anna
• Delicious nourishing vegetarian lunch
• Seasonal herbal wisdom
• Group mandala making and ritual
• Sharing circle with chai and sweet treats
• Yin yoga

And much laughter and connection!

This retreat is part of The Turning Season, a series of four seasonal gatherings across the year. Each retreat reflects the energy of the season and invites women to explore menopause as a natural cycle of change, wisdom and renewal.

Our Autumn gathering — Harvesting Wisdom — is a time for reflection, storytelling and honouring what this stage of life has already brought us.  We are all at different points along this journey and through sharing our experiences with other women we are able to see what lies ahead or connect and heal what has been before.  

About the facilitators: 
Anna Abria (Anna Burns) has been working in the creative and performing arts for many years.  She is a kirtan leader, Zumba Gold instructor, creative arts and drama tutor, Angelic Reiki practitioner and space holder. She is passionate about creating environments where women feel safe to share their stories, explore creative expression and reconnect with their inner wisdom.

Jaya (Jana Grossmanova) is a nutritionist, herbalist and yoga instructor who supports women through the menopause transition with practical nourishment, herbal wisdom and delicious seasonal food. She brings a wealth of experience helping women find gentle, supportive ways to care for their changing bodies.

Together we offer a warm, welcoming space where women can explore this life transition in community.

Location: The Sanctuary, The Lotus Yoga Centre, Paraparaumu
Exchange: $140

This is a small and intimate gathering, limited to 12 women, so everyone has space to be heard.
