The Block Party is back and once again, Sheffield and Birmingham Streets are closing ranks for a full day of neighbourhood energy, local flavour and good times.
This business-led street party brings together Kāpiti’s food, drink, creatives and performers to transform the area into a vibrant, walkable celebration for locals and visitors alike. Expect streets alive with music, buzzing venues, pop-ins, pop-ups and plenty of reasons to linger.
Bring the whānau. Rally your mates. Start at one end of the block and see where the day takes you.
What to Expect
While the full programme will be announced closer to the day, you can expect:
- Live music and performances throughout the streets
- Local food, brews and bites across participating venues
- Markets, creative stalls and interactive experiences
- Family-friendly activities during the day
- A relaxed, street-party atmosphere that rolls from morning into evening
Many of the same much-loved venues and spaces from last year will be back in the mix, alongside new elements and surprises for 2026.

- Sheffield Street and Birmingham Street will be activated for the event
- Easy pedestrian access between both streets
- Parking available nearby, with traffic management in place on the day
