Meditation Drum Circle

Kia Ora Friends, We will be gathering this Friday to once again share in rhythm and song.

11th April, The Lotus Yoga Centre, Paraparaumu, Wellington, 7pm - 9pm, $30 (door sales only).

For those new to the circle or wishing to come along and join us here is a little bit about what to expect: The evening begins with some brief drumming instruction before we settle into our first 'Round'. Over the 2 hours we have 4 'Rhythm Rounds', each one organically evolving and weaving as we improvise and drum together. There is no right or wrong, correct way to play nor pressure to 'get it right'.
As facilitator I may contribute a song, chant or vocal melody however there is no expectation to sing but you are welcome to should you feel moved. The space is welcoming, warm and friendly - no drumming experience is required so bring your drum along and join us.
