Op de 88e dag van het jaar, dit jaar op 29 maart, wordt wereldwijd World Piano Day gevierd, als eerbetoon aan de 88 toetsen van de piano. Over de hele wereld komen muziekliefhebbers samen om dit bijzondere instrument te vieren, vaak omschreven als “de koning van alle instrumenten”.
Om deze speciale dag te markeren organiseert HB Media de Cultural Conscious Piano Edition in Theater Thalia.

De Cultural Conscious-serie heeft als doel het cultureel bewustzijn van inwoners en bezoekers van Suriname te vergroten. 
Tijdens deze editie staat de piano centraal. Met dit concert willen wij extra aandacht geven aan pianomuziek en het publiek laten genieten van de veelzijdigheid en culturele waarde van dit bijzondere instrument.
