Join Deja Vu Gardens Galore Nursery and More for a lecture that will include information on FAST GROWING shrubs & trees that are best to create a PRIVACY SCREEM, WINDBREAK, OR HEDGE and all things to consider before choosing and purchasing… height and width of mature plants and so much more, when and growing these, trees and shrubs! 

Everyone is living in a fishbowl, since the fire and our ridge residents are seeking options to replace their mature landscape. Learn about sun requirements and tolerance, how to sustain our high winds now on the ridge and which ones can weather the hot summer temps. 

Participants will also learn about, sun exposure locations, planting, transplanting, deadheading, pruning, common pests and diseases to watch for and how to combat with natural remedies, best watering and fertilizing practices, and so much more… 

Class participants will learn the importance of amending our clay soil, non-burning root boosters, future maintenance, as well as tips and tricks to protect deer from if your landscape is open and not fenced, if needed based on specimen you choose. 

We will then follow with an Open Q & A Forum to address all the questions our participants may have on all the design elements and careful thought that goes into a design based on their needs and desires. 

In addition, we will provide a group tour of the nursery and the many different varieties we have available and the multitude of options encouraging questions during our tour. 

This is the final opportunity is hosted in partnership with PRPD and the Neighbor-To-Neighbor.
