- **Event Description**: On Monday, December 1, join us for our annual Tree Lighting Ceremony! The festivities start at 4:00 p.m. with the Kin Club of Paradise’s annual Christmas Raffle; turkeys, hams, and cash prizes are up for grabs. All proceeds will go back into various community groups such as the 905 Viking Air Cadets, the Conception Bay South and Paradise Food Bank, and create food hampers.

After you try your luck at the Christmas raffle, enjoy live performances from Holy Spirit High Choir, Cirque Du Flambé, Dana Parsons and Pianist Evan Smith (from Diva’s Do Christmas). Free hot chocolate will be given out, and in the spirit of reducing waste, we encourage people to bring a reusable mug. At the end of the night, watch a moment of magic as we light the tree for all to see. A sign language interpreter from Triangular Communications Inc. will be on site and the Town will be accepting non-perishable food items for the Conception Bay South and Paradise Food Bank.
