GrandMaster Na, 9th Dan is the founder of the International Taekwondo Masters Association and Master Na's Black Belt Academies chain of schools.    Hailed, "The Master Maker" by Taekwondo Times Magazine, he is one of the leading minds and among the few authentic 9th Degree Black Belts in the world.  

This is Grand Master Richard Na's 45th year of teaching Martial Arts, and he has produced National and World champions and Masters both on and off the mat.  He is a pioneer and innovator bridging East and West, and a force for the unification, spirit, and philosophy of Taekwondo with teaching professionalism.

Master Na is a licensed 9th-Degree Black Belt in Korean MooDukKwan Taekwondo. In addition, he holds advanced degrees of Black Belts and Instructor certifications in Hapkido, Gumdo (Korean sword), and others.   He is also a Gold medalist in the world's largest Black Belt tournament held in Korea and World Breaking Champion (2011).  He holds some of the highest levels of certifications in coaching, refereeing, and tournament judging, and has received special recognitions and awards from the World Taekwondo Headquarters in Korea.

He serves as an executive advisor in many organizations, including Washington State Taekwondo and the executive secretary of the International Korean MooDukKwan Taekwondo Association. Master Na has training as a psychologist and uses his combined experience in mind and body to guide and develop students to their fullest potential.
