What does this workshop cover?
This lovely workshop guided by Hester Mortimer will guide you through creating your own paper parrot tulip flower. Your tutor will guide you through each step in creating the petals and the joining of your flower ready for you to take home.
You will explore the shapes and colours of the flower and how to get the scale of the flower correct. Its a lovely workshop to escape and learn a new craft all about gorgeous flowers.

Who the workshop is run by
The lovely Hester Mortimer, who is a paper flower artist. She loves creating paper flowers as it allows her time to turn moments of spring and nature into lasting keepsakes, and there’s something deeply satisfying about knowing a flower made will be treasured for years. Sharing that sense of calm, beauty, and connection with other flower lovers is what makes this work so special. Hester has made regular sized and giant flowers for weddings, private and corporate events across the country and have been privileged to have worked with Disney, Elton John, Maybelline and the Hilton Hotel Group.
Other things you need to know
All workshops are run at LilyBoo, Lostwithiel on the upstairs floor. There is a steep flight of stairs up to the workshop area but once there you will have everything you need, from a small kitchen for tea and coffee along with a bathroom. The workshops at LilyBoo have bought together people for a chat, to learn something new and there is always lots of laughter.
