Positive Affirmations are known to subtle have an imprint on our mind and when practised long enough they will become part of us. So, this is a fantastic way of bringing more positivity, and boosting self esteem and confidence.
So, can you imagine, if we start teaching our children from a young age the power of affirmations by encouraging them to use them? They will certainly grow up feeling more confident in themselves and enter their adulthood with more self belief and empowered to follow their paths and manifest their dreams. With younger children, I find it from my own experience with my daughter that is best to do this self empowerment work subtly through creativity and fun.
I got this idea, a couple of years ago as I wanted to give my daughter a more meaningful calendar (rather than just getting a chocolate). She was absolutely thrilled to open everyday a new affirmation. It was an opportunity to reaffirm her self beliefs and also install new ones. A great way to deepen connection with our kids as we spent time talking about the affirmation and also a way of learning some new words too :) Of course, she wants another one this year!
As a mum and a mindfulness teacher for children, I am very passionate about empowering our children so that they fulfil their potential with a calm, grounded and confident approach.
✨Affirmations are great to remind us who we are, our power.
✨And they are also great to support us in bringing in a new positive habit or belief.
✨Affirmations can support the process of rewiring our brain.
And it’s lots of fun for us as mums to do something creative for our kids!
