Its the school holidays so bring the family along and create your own art work. We will have three sites to make your own ephemeral art. Ephemeral art is intentionally made to be temporary, existing for a short time before disappearing, decaying or being dismantled. At each site, we will have natural materials sourced from Riverhaven for you to create your own work. Then leave it for other people to enjoy.
For inspiration research Andy Goldsworthy Sculptor and Photographer.
Auckland University Architecture students will also be on site with Artist/lecturer @Matt_Liggins who will be making an “anti architecture” work also from natural materials from Riverhaven Artland.
@katieblundellartist will have her Studio + Gallery will be open for viewing.
These are set to be inspiring days at Riverhaven Artland, we cannot wait for you to join us.
