🎭 What is Devised Theatre?
It’s not your typical play with a script, written in advance. Instead, devised theatre is created together by the performers, director, and artists through workshops, storytelling, movement, and experimentation.
👹 For "The Monster Project," our artists in residence didn’t start with a script - they started with a dream - and then asked questions:
"What do we fear? What are we consuming? How do we heal?"
🌱 In the coming weeks, our cast of local and visiting artists - and YOU, the North Fork Valley community - will help craft this story from the ground up: using music, movement, puppetry, and workshopping language. The result will be something raw, immersive, and deeply human - shaped by this place, this moment, these people.
