Mixed Bag Jazz is a versatile jazz quartet based in Western Colorado, founded by two career musicians with credentials that speak for themselves. Trumpeter and co-founder Zan Waller spent more than 20 years performing in U.S. Army and Navy bands around the world. Co-founder Todd Humphrey is a retired music educator and sought-after professional musician from the Southern California scene.

Together, they've assembled a quartet that blends the sophistication of the Great American Songbook with modern jazz sensibility — classic standards reimagined with fresh energy. No two sets sound the same, which is exactly the point.
