About the workshop: Desdemona and Mark will walk you through the creative and technical steps of self producing your own project from idea to edit. You'll learn how to develop concepts, plan a shoot, work with a camera, and think visually with the focus on low-budget, high impact storytelling. This hands-on class is designed to help artists and beginners alike gain the skills to bring their own work to life. One-on-one feedback is available for participants.
About Desdemona Dallas: a photographer and filmmaker. Working with artists and brands creating unique stories through images.

About Mark Blane: "Queer disabled filmmaker and actor known internationally by obscure niche audiences who adored my first feature CUBBY, a dark comedy. (Seriously, I was HUGE in Italy). Co-wrote the Netflix original noir LGBTQ whodunnit THE DEATH AND LIFE OF MARSHA P. JOHNSON. Used to fetch Outback Steakhouse for a bunch of writers on a failed multi-cam sitcom as a Writer's PA.
