# Event Details

- **Event Name**: I Burnt My Kitchen Down - Debut Art Exhibition by Maria Wright
- **Event Start and End Date**: Thu, 13 Nov, 2025 at 07:00 pm
- **Event Description**: Maria Wright (b.1986) is a multidisciplinary artist and actor. Her interest in art was shaped from a young age by the then vast and natural landscape surrounding her as a child in Mellieha.

Her debut solo exhibition ‘I Burnt My Kitchen Down’ is an exploration of self discovery navigated through salvaged mixed media collage, painting and clay sculpture. Wright’s largely autobiographical work navigates the difficult process of loss and rediscovery of personal identity through colour, texture and recycled textiles.
