Welcome to Peneti (Panihati) on the banks of Hooghly where we will take you on a guided tour of the rich heritages of this locality.
Our tour will start after reaching Bungalow at Niharika Ghat, Sukhchar, right on the banks of the Hooghly. The Bungalow which was once owned by Raja Radhakanto Deb (grandson of Raja Nabakrishna Deb) of Sovabazar Rajbari, has been painstakingly restored by the present owners into a beautiful bungalow. Now named as Nihar on the Ganges.
General Tour Itinerary (subject to last minute changes or deletions depending on the time of opening of the various places to visit and our availability of time) :
1. A lavish Bengali spread at Lunch. Will be served at around 1:30pm.
2. Pick up from Nihar on the Ganges by Toto
3. We intend to visit Baro Mandir Ghat, Vipasana Kendra, Trannath babu Ghat and Temple, Satsang Thakurbari, Gobindo Home (House where Kobiguru Rabindranath stayed has to be viewed from outside as entry inside not allowed), ISKCON temple, Mahotsab Tala Ghat & Jagannath Temple, Giribala Thakurbari, Raghab Bhaban / Paat Bari, Khadi ashram (Second home of Gandhiji)
4. Come back to Nihar on the Ganges for witnessing a beautiful sunset over the river while we serve you tea and snacks.
5. Leave Panihati by 6:30pm
6. Reach Kolkata by 8pm
TRANSPORTATION:
1. AC Car for transfers from Kolkata and back
2. Vehicle route starting from Peerless Hospital (EM Bypass) at 7am and then proceed to Ultadanga to BT Road towards Panihati. The route is fixed and as decided by us. Please do not request for deviations when returning as any deviations will cost us additional charges.
3. Locally Toto will be used to conduct the tour.
IMPORTANT :
1. NO ROOMS ARE INCLUDED IN THE PACKAGE. WASHROOM FACILITY WILL BE AVAILABLE FOR OUR GUESTS OUTSIDE THE ROOMS.
2. LUNCH WILL BE SERVED AT NIHAR IN THEIR DINING PLACE
3. BREAKFAST WILL BE FROM ROAD SIDE STALLS ON THE WAY
EXCLUSIONS:
1. Any usage of any other mode of transport other than what is provided
2. Any tips to anybody
3. Any additional beverages or snacks or food consumed other than what is provided in package
4. Any other charges outside the package.
DISCLAIMER:
Although we provide our best of services, we will not take any responsibility for any car mechanical problems or for any electricity fluctuations in Nihar. No adjustments in rates will be made in such eventuality.
CHARGES Rs 3850/- per person (all inclusive)
PAYMENT TERMS :
1) 50% on booking
2) Balance 50% before 60 days of the date of programme

CANCELLATION POLICY:
1) 20% will be deducted for any cancellations made before 60 days of the date of programme
2) 100% will be deducted for any cancellation made within 0 to 59 days of the date of programme.
