New Year – A Dream in Their Eyes
The joy of the Bengali New Year is in the air! A new year, new clothes, new dreams, and new celebrations! But beyond this happiness, there are innocent faces around us for whom Poila Boishakh is just another ordinary day—spent with the hope that someday, life will change. Many of them have never experienced the excitement of wearing new clothes on New Year’s Day or the taste of a festive meal.
However, with our love and kindness, these underprivileged children can also be a part of the New Year’s celebrations. A small act of generosity from us can make a big difference in their lives. With this goal in mind, Porosh has taken the initiative this year to bring smiles to the faces of nearly 100 underprivileged children in Mantopla and Mayshyampur villages of North 24 Parganas.
For these children, we will be distributing:
👕 New clothes – so they, too, can experience the joy of the festival
📚 Educational materials – so their dreams never come to a halt
🎨 Color pencils & drawing books – to make their world more colorful
⚽ Sports equipment – to fill their childhood with fun and excitement
Our small effort can only be successful with your love and support. Even a little donation from you can be the reason behind a child's first drawing, their first book, or their first toy!
