Soft Opening - MLK Jr. Recreation Center

The City of Panama City is proud to announce that the MLK Jr. Recreation Center rebuild project is nearing completion.

Come out and see what the new center offers at the Soft Opening on Monday, December 15th, 2025, from 2-5 PM. Guests will enjoy light refreshments and hear welcome remarks from City staff, Commissioners, project partners, and Javien Elliott, Manager of the MLK Jr. Recreation Center. Attendees will also have the opportunity to tour the newly renovated facility and preview the enhanced spaces and programs that will soon be available to the community.
