This tournament welcomes all levels—beginner, intermediate, and advanced—so whether you’re brand new or a seasoned player, you’ll feel right at home. Expect beautifully set tables, a laid-back atmosphere, and a not-too-serious approach to friendly competition.

We’ll have fun prizes up for grabs—including Mahjong tile sets, accessories, and more surprises ✨

 🐚 Format:

• Players will aim to complete 5 rounds within the 2-hour play window
• If your table moves quickly, you’re welcome to play additional rounds
• You will submit your best 5 scores for final ranking

🐚 Rules of Play:
• We will be playing using NMJL rules with the 2026 National Mah Jongg League card
• Players should be able to play independently (this is not a teaching event)

🐚 Seating:
• Randomized seating throughout the event
• Self-selected levels (beginner, intermediate, advanced) to help guide table balance
• Minor adjustments may be made to keep tables fun and fair

🐚  Scoring:
• We’ll use a simplified NMJL-based scoring system to keep gameplay moving
• Full scoring details + rules will be emailed about a week prior to the tournament

🐚 Good to know:
• Please bring your own 2026 NMJL card
• We will have 2026 NMJL cards available for purchase at the event
