- **Event Description**: Join us for an evening of wonderful music, as we welcome Liturgical Folk to Transfiguration to share their talents. Liturgical Folk is a group that pairs historic church language with modern folk sounds. We have used a few of their pieces in our worship services over the last year or so, particularly their setting of the Gloria, which we used all of last summer. They are led by Ryan Flannigan who is a music director at an Episcopal church, Resurrection in South Austin, and through some small church-world connections and what feels like a little bit of providence, we were able to work out bringing them to us for a concert. The concert itself will start at 7PM, but the parish will host the band for a potluck beforehand at 6PM. More details around tickets will be available soon.
