12th Annual Halloween 5K Run/Walk

The Moraine Valley Health, Fitness & Recreation Center will be hosting the 12th annual Halloween 5K Run/Walk in conjunction with the Moraine Valley Foundation.

Open to the Moraine Valley campus and community, this race donates all proceeds to the Moraine Valley Foundation, which provides need-based scholarships to students including FitRec employees. By participating, you can make a difference in the lives of students by helping them afford a college education.

Because it is near Halloween, costumes are highly encouraged. Strollers are allowed on the course. Kid's Dash race available for children 3-12 years old.

There will be a Pumpkin's Patch area for the kids during and after the race which includes free children’s Halloween activities supervised by FitRec youth programming staff.
