Tea & Tango — Class & Practilonga
A weekly evening where movement, music, and art meet.
Every Saturday at 1680 Bryant St, Palo Alto
Drop-In Class (Giros & Boleos Intensive this week): 3:45–5:00 pm
Practilonga: 5:00–8:00 pm
Tea Service: 5:30–8:00 pm
Our historic community house opens its doors for a warm, beginner-friendly tango class followed by a three-hour practilonga. Two rooms for dancing, a piano humming in the corner, shelves of tango history from the Paz & Hart library, and artwork that brings the space to life.
We explore all eras of tango—from contemporary to Golden Age—and welcome every embrace style and skill level. New dancers find encouragement and clarity; experienced dancers refine, switch roles, and play.
Fresh pu-erh tea is served throughout the night in authentic earthenware, alongside light snacks, as we practice with curiosity, community, and flow.
A space for dance, tea, art, and the joy of learning together.
