Virginia Master Naturalist Monthly Hikes

Meet at the Rock Brook Trailhead Kiosk. Start the New Year with a crisp winter walk on the Quail Trail! Meadows are barren and deserted in winter… or are they? We’ll walk through the meadow and enter a pine forest to learn about who lives in each and how they thrive and survive in January. We will walk about a mile on these relatively smooth trails with gentle inclines.

Children MUST be accompanied by a parent or responsible adult. Please wear appropriate hiking attire, good walking shoes, no flip-flops and no crocs! Please bring a full water bottle and a snack.
