- **Event Name**: Interactive Sourdough Class For Beginners

- **Event Description**: Participants will feed their own sourdough starter, learn how to care for and use sourdough starter, view how to bake a loaf of bread, sample sourdough bread and tortillas, discuss helpful tools, tricks, and ingredients, and make a batch of tortillas as a class. Hot beverages will be provided.

Participants will take home sourdough starter, directions on how to keep a healthy starter, your own entire batch of tortillas, and sourdough recipes. 

This is a registered event - $50 per person. Please bring cash or a check to the event. Limited spots are available. To sign up for the class, please head to https://hometownhealthcenter.ezfacility.com/Sessions. Click the Sourdough event scheduled for May 16th in the calender. You will then need to create an account through Hometown Health to register for the class. Then you may book the class and it will direct you to buy the package. You will not be asked to pay for the class online. Select “buy” under teaching kitchen and then complete checkout. Please bring cash or a check to the event. If you go under “My Scheudle” you should see your registered class. If you need to cancel the class, please cancel your booking through the listed event under “My Schedule” 

If the class is fully booked, you may add yourself to the waitlist. If a participant cancels, the first person on the waitlist will receive an email invitation to join the class. You will have 24 hours to accept the invitation before it is sent to another person on the waitlist.

A liability form will need to be reviewed and signed at this class as it is a hands on class. Please enter the facility from the main entrance. Wesley will direct you to the community kitchen. During the class, each participant will be making their own tortillas. If you prefer your own rolling pin, please bring it to the class. See you soon!
