- **Event Description**: Saturday, June 20th, 11:00 a.m., a handcrafted wooden replica of the first boat to travel the completed Erie Canal, the Seneca Chief, will arrive from New York City after having traveled the canal and will be stopping at the Port of Palmyra. There will be a replica of the box that carried the Grandin printing press offloaded at the port and carried the short distance up to the Grandin Printshop. As part of the reenactment there will be brief reading parts canal side, outside, and then inside the Grandin Printshop to commemorate the historical press delivery on which the Book of Mormon was printed.
All are welcome to attend this event!
