2-D needle felting - painting with fiber

Create a magical scene by "painting with wool" (needle felting wool into an image.) Perfect for the beginner or intermediate crafter. Materials provided - felt back, roving (loose wool,) and tools for felting provided during class: felting needles, felting foam block and stencils. Bring an idea or photo. 4"x4" is the basic working area for the image. Take home your 4x4 image to be framed at the end of class. All students will be required to sign a safety waiver as the needles involved in felting are very sharp. Instructor: Diane Wilkin
