Welcome to Banana Bender Big Laughs, a special stand-up comedy event at the Banana Bender Pub!

The night will feature a showcase of comedians from the Brisbane and Sunshine Coast comedy scenes including 2 feature acts and 4 support acts!

It's a night full of variety and fun for all!

Your first feature act is Angela Greensill. Angela is a comedic enigma who keeps you guessing and laughing at the same time. With a surprising blend of hilarity and a dash of delightful chaos, her punchline-packed performances are a big crowd-pleaser
Having graced stages nationwide, this rising star is blazing her own trail in the comedy world. As a professional writer, Angela's jokes are as finely crafted as a Swiss watch—if Swiss watches made you snort-laugh. Her colourful life experiences fuel her comedy, delivering thought-provoking premises with a generous sprinkle of "Did she really just say that?" moments

Your second feature act is Nan Chen. A local comedian with an amazing style and a killer dead-pan delivery, Nan has truly become a staple for a good night of comedy across Brisbane over the last few years!
Nan has twice been a Queensland state finalist in Triple J's Raw Comedy Competion.
Originally from China, Nan was a successful talk show host on a radio station in a small Chinese village with a population of 8 million people. Thanks to living in New Zealand and Australia for 20 years , she is full of stories of language barriers, cultural shock and the bittersweet life of an Asian woman growing up in an Australian community.

Your support acts are Glenn Spring, Andy Hudson, Tim Bohm and Scotty K

Glenn Spring delivers comedy packed with sharp one-liners and hilarious observations. A Triple J Raw Comedy state finalist, he’s performed all over Australia and is a regular on the south-east Queensland comedy circuit, where he can often be found handing out jokes in his dry signature delivery.

Andy Hudson is a likeable young guy, quickly becoming popular on the Brisbane and Sunshine Coast comedy scenes thanks to his quirky style where he delivers jokes that are a bit different to what you might expect. Get on board with Andy and it will be a fun ride

Tim Bohm (Bundaberg) and Scotty K (Gympie) are two talented up and coming comedians from the Wide Bay Region who perform regularly in Brisbane, on the Sunshine Coast and further up the coast whenever they get an opportunity

Your mc for the night is James O'Connell. James has performed in pubs and clubs across Australia for the last 16 years. Originally from Brisbane, he recently moved back up to QLD after a 6 year stint in Sydney. He's done regional tours in North QLD, Western QLD and Northern NSW as well as shows in Brisbane and regional areas not far from Brisbane such as Peak Crossing, Beaudesert, Harrisville, Forest Hill, Chinchilla, Millmerran and Warwick.
