- **Event Name**: Writing with the Herd Workshop
- **Event Start and End Date**: Sat, 17 Oct, 2026 at 10:00 am – Sat, 17 Oct, 2026 at 12:00 pm (-04:00)
- **Event Description**: There’s something about being in the presence of horses that invites us to slow down, listen, and notice what we might otherwise miss. ✨🐴

Join us for Writing with the Herd, an immersive morning of reflection and storytelling at Zorro’s Crossing Horse Sanctuary, led by writer, lifelong equestrian, and creator The Hotel Cat, Sable Massingill Martinez.

Through thoughtful writing prompts and quiet observation of the herd, Sable will guide us in putting pen to paper, asking meaningful questions, and uncovering deeper insights about ourselves—all while spending a beautiful morning alongside our rescue horses.

Saturday, October 17
10:00 AM–12:00 PM
Zorro’s Crossing Horse Sanctuary
Chattahoochee Hills, GA

No writing experience is necessary—just bring a notebook and a willingness to disconnect, reflect, and spend a little time with the herd.

Even better, your participation helps support the rescue horses who call Zorro’s Crossing home. A suggested $25 per person donation can be made the day of the event at the sanctuary.💚
