The Mount Forest Lions have organized the Santa Claus Parade since 1938 and we are pleased to announce that Santa will be heading to Main Street this year on December 5th, starting at 7:00pm leaving from the Old Arena on King Street & proceeding north on Main Street to the Firehall.

All floats entering will be judged on this year’s theme, “The Magic of Christmas Music” for the following: Most Colourful, Biggest & Brightest, Best Use of Theme & Best Youth.

If your company is interested in entering a float, pre-registration is preferred. Please contact email mflions38@gmail.com or message the Lions Facebook Page. Should your business decide at the last minute simply show up at the old arena anytime after 5:30pm on the day of the parade. 

It will be first come first serve as far as line up at the Old Arena starting at 5:30pm. Please come to the Old Arena building for sign in. Please enter off Wellington Street, there will be volunteers out there to guide you into place. Transport truck are to pull into the church parking lot for placement. Smaller pick-up trucks will be directed to line up through the middle of the fairground track. Please use the Curling Club for parking & dropping off float riders and avoid parking extra vehicles in the church parking lot - we need all the room we can get.

We will be leaving from the Old Arena and proceeding west on King Street to Main, turning right onto Main Street & heading north ending at the Firehall. Feel free to pull in there to dismantle. 
NO THROWING CANDY FROM YOUR FLOAT.
